Rat Terrier (my spoiled grand dog)

This is Jenna, she is a very spoiled Rat Terrier. I can say that because she belongs to my daughter. Jennabug, as I like to call her, has been living a hour away from me for the past year. Next week she and her family will be moving into their new home just a short 20 minutes away. Jenna and the Brothers Poodle will yet again be seeing a lot of each other. We are all looking forward to that.

The Best Cat Food for Your Cat

A picture of yet another satisfied customer. Liz wrote to tell me.... "Here's picture of my cat Thomas. He just loves the pet food you recommended. He's more playful and alert. Each morning, as soon as I get up, he's meowwing at me and leading me to the cabinet where I keep his food. If I stop following him, he turns around and meows in a tone that means business."
What food is making Thomas a demanding feline you may ask? Well, It's Instinctive Choice of cource.
Instinctive Choice is formulated to provide your cat with a meal that is similar in nutrition and moisture to how a feline would feed in the wild.
Instinctive Choice is a protein rich food, which contains organic chicken, turkey, chicken liver and shrimp.

Australian Shepherd Grooming

This is Max, he is a 6 year old Blue Merle (color) Aussie.
Full Grooming for an Australian Shepherd should be done every 6- 8 weeks. Weekly brushing is very important to keep the coat free from mats and to help distribute the sebum oils.

Tools needed are: Pin and Slicker brushes, wide tooth and standard steel combs (Greyhound), scissors, toe nail clippers, shedding rake, shampoo and coat conditioner. I also like to use the Blueberry facial on Aussie's to help keep their faces nice and bright.

NuVet Plus endorsed by The Stuffed Poodle Gang

These wonderful stuffed animals which happen to be poodles by the way, sit on my desktop here in my office. The bottle of NuVet Plus is here too and every morning my dogs start their day with a NuVet wafer.
The black poodle on the left and the black & white one on the right are very old. I was very happy to find them at an antique shop. I get lots of poodle items from my customers and friends at Christmas time as gifts.

West Highland Terrier Puppy

My name is Bobby
Small and Shaggy, Peppy and Fun
Intelligent and Proud
These little guys may look cute and cuddly, but the Westie would much rather be running, jumping, playing and barking than sitting around on some chair looking regal.
Puppy grooming should start as soon as possable to get accustom to the world of looking good. This is not only important for the appearance of your new puppy but also for his health and well being. Terriers can have an odor problem when not cleansed and groomed. It is also important to maintain a healthy coat so that mats don't get bad that can often lead to skin problems. To ensure your Westie stays healthy start him on NuVet Plus.
Grooming: Moderately High
Full Grooming should be done every 4 - 6 Weeks
West Highland White Terriers have a double coat. The outer coat is wiry and the soft undercoat is moderately dense and guarded by the outer coat.
Most owners that do not show their dogs will choose to have their Westie clipped using a blade to shorten the body hair. The legs, tail and head are shaped with scissors.
Tools needed are:
The slicker and pin brushes, metal combs, scissors, thinning shears, clippers and blades, toe nail clippers and file, mild shampoo, ear cleaner.
This breed commonly has dry skin so a mild shampoo like oatmeal is good for monthly bathing. A whitening shampoo is great for keeping a westie bright and white. A blueberry facial is a gentle, lightly foaming facial cleanser that soothes and balances. It has natural exfoliating activity and is slightly hydrating. Helps remove dirt and unsightly tear stains, as well as stains around the mouth. Gentle on the eyes. Ask your groomer for a Blueberry facial your pet will love you for it.
