Today while I was trimming Bosco's toe nails, he all of a sudden pushed his leg forward just as I was clipping his front nail. I accidentally cut off to much causing the nail to bleed. In most cases, this is an easy fix, blotting off the blood with a cotton ball then applying Kwik Stop Styptic Powder, but this was a dozy. Blood just dripped out like a leaky faucet and I felt so bad. "Poor Bosco" I kept saying as I tried to get it to stop, but it was not working. I thought about the Soft Claws, what if I put some Kwik Stop inside a nail cap and slipped it over his nail. It worked!!! I was so happy and he was a real trooper about the whole thing. The nail sealed itself and Bosco never bothered with it at all. So if you experience 'a cut to short nail' try Soft Claws. They can be purchased at PetEdge.
