Here is the before and after pictures of a Shih Tzu mix that was in very matted condition. As you can see, his hair was so thick and long that he was extremely uncomfortable.

OMG!!!! That looks exactly like my dog MAX!! He is a Shish Tsu - Mix Looks exactly like that with long and short hair. For a second i thought it was my dog!!! Do you know what mix it was!
No sorry, I don't know what he is for sure. If your dog looks like Shorty then you have a pretty cute dog.
There must be triplets, because he also looks just like my dog Bud. Bud's hair is cut exactly the same since I keep him shaved. Bud's legs are a bit shorter though.
Can you please tell me what number guard you used on him? I would like to shave my shih-tzu mix like that as well.
This was done with a 7F blade. Just to let you know, I use an Andis clipper and blades.
