For many years I have been using essential oils for my home, including cleaning windows, counter tops, sinks, floors, even laundry. But the one question I am often asked in the grooming shop is, “Can I use essentials oils on pets?”, my answer is a definite YES! I use and trust Young Living’s oils. They make a specially formulated line of Animal Scents oil blends for our pets. Our pets are indeed family members and they deserve the best products just like our spouses and children. The Animal Scents line has 6 essential oil blends and they are as follows.
Infect Away – This blend helps support the body’s natural response to infection. You can 1-2 drops to the affected area or 8-10 drops in a 1 ounce spray bottle with distilled water.
Caprylic/capric glycerides, Commiphora myrrha (Myrrh) oil, Pogostemon cablin (Patchouli) oil, Hyptis suaveolens (Dorado Azul) seed oil, Bursera graveolens (Palo Santo) wood oil, Plectranthus amboinucus oil, Ocotea quixos (Ocotea) leaf oil.
Puriclean – Apply 1-2 drops to the affected area or using a 1 ounce spray bottle with distilled water, add 8-10 drops and spritz to support proper cleansing.Use an AromaGlide Roller Fitment to conveniently apply a generous amount.
Caprylic/capric glycerides, Pogostemon cablin† (Patchouli) oil, Lavandula angustifolia† (Lavender) oil, Satureja montana† (Mountain Savory) oil, Bursera graveolens† (Palo santo) wood oil, Cistus ladaniferus† (Cistus) oil, Cymbopogon nardus† (Citronella) oil, Cymbopogon flexuosus† (Lemongrass) oil, Rosmarinus officinalis† (Rosemary) leaf oil, Melaleuca alternifolia† (Tea tree) leaf oil, Lavandula hybrida† (Lavandin) oil, Myrtus communis† (Myrtle) oil.
Paragize – Add 1-2 drops to water for support in elimination internal parasites.

Mendwell – Massage 1-2 drops on the affected area to promote a natural healing process.

Repel Aroma - Apply 2–4 drops to your hands and pet onto your animal’s coat.* Add to a 1 oz. spray bottle and spritz generously on your animal’s coat or skin.* Diffuse to keep pests away from certain areas in the home or small areas outdoors. Carefully apply according to the size and species of animal.General rule: Dilute more for smaller species.
