Jack Russell Terrier

This is Toby, a Jack Russell Terrier. Here he is in a before and after picture. As you can see, he is very wiry so the owner likes him to have a nice close shave.
This breed gets a height of 10-15 inches at the withers and weighs in to about 15 - 18 pounds.
It can have smooth, wiry, or "broken" coat and is mostly white with black, tan, or brown markings. They are quick, athletic, agile, intelligent, bold and sometimes confrontational.
A healthy Jack Russell can live to be 15 years or older. Common health problems include cataracts and joint issues, but for the most part he is a solid dog with relatively few health concerns. NuJoint from NuVet Plus is recommended for joint health.
