Purina Chef Michael's Canine Creations

I saw a commercial the other day about Purina's Chef Michael's Canine Creations and was curious about the chef inspired cuisine. So who is Chef Michael I wondered? And this is the answer I got.

“Thank you for contacting NestlĂ© Purina PetCare Company.
We appreciate your interest in our products. Please know that Chef Michael is not a real person, but a reflection of the many people inspired to make mealtime special for their dogs.
There was more to the story but for space I left it out.
What I found didn't really surprise me. Here yet is another dog food carefully crafted in making us think that it is made with natural, fresh, wholesome ingredients. On the contrary, the wet foods contain ingredients in the Beef Tenderloin Flavor as: Water sufficient for processing, beef, liver, wheat gluten, meat by-products, chicken, barley, carrots, corn starch-modified, artificial and natural flavors, soy flour, salt, calcium phosphate, natural beef tenderloin flavor, potassium chloride, added color, and such.
Ingredients in the Rotisserie Chicken Flavor as: Water sufficient for processing, chicken, liver, wheat gluten, meat by-products,
carrots, turkey, corn starch-modified, corn, artificial and natural flavors, soy flour, calcium phosphate, salt, natural rotisserie chicken flavor, potassium chloride, added color and such. The rest of the flavors are basically the same, you can check them for yourself. The dry food is no better, in fact it is probably worse.
Now compare these ingredients with something that is really good for your dog. Click Here
